The Trend: Varsity Team

Wearing a Varsity jacket may make us feel like having a kegger and watching some Sunday night football, but Alexander Wang has been sporting one around town for a few years, which automatically makes it cool. These jackets are now making its way into the hearts of a few other designer seeing as we saw it all over the Men's runways in January. Designers showed tons of variations in terms of fabric combinations, colors and proportions, but they are casual enough to go with most of your wardrobe. Our advice, buy one now this Spring by being ahead of the pack and when Fall rolls around you will still be on trend.  Click through for some of our favorites!

Balmain $4,795 from Barneys

This is one of those things that we would never recommend you to buy because it is just so incredibly expensive. But like all things Balmain, it is really nice to look at. We love the silver contrast sleeves and the slimmer cut - very modern and can go from day to evening.

Paul Smith, $914.43 at Asos.com

We love this jacket simply for the color, the navy blue is really on trend. This version also feels slightly more preppy than athletic and has a definite city vibe.

 Roots, $398 from Roots.com

Nothing beats the classic. We love this tone one tone version from Roots, with the leather sleeves, and the special Canadian details.

ASOS, $71.72 from Asos.com

You don't have to break the bank with any look, and this is a great choice from asos.com at a fraction of the cost. It's not leather, but it still looks great.

As you can see, there are plenty of choices for Varsity jackets that range from the luxury end of fashion and more reasonable choices.  Choose what suits you best and don't be afraid to experiment!
